"Thank you Nelson for teaching me to be a real artist. I have learned so much in the year that I have been under your wing. When you walk into our class, the air becomes filled with your fiery genius and an electrifying exhilliaration. I am so happy to be your student and happy that I have persevered. There were times I almost gave up. I know that I have not yet arrived and not by a long shot. I pray not, but becoming as great as you... that may take a half a life time."
