New York is a city known for yielding the finest of everything. It is a multicultural center filled with incredible diversity. The emergence of Gospel Singer Carmen Amoros is proof of all of those blessings from above and the gifts that come from the Lord. As a child Carmen learned four part harmony and taught her sisters how to sing. In the late 1980s Carmen took vocal coaching with Broadway Vocal Coach Spider Duncan in New York City. Carmen and her sisters soon became a quartet singing at major church events and in conventions for the Assemblies of God movement in New York City and at City Hall for the Mayor of New York City. Carmen also sang in school shows and civic and corporate events, including singing lead soloist as a First Soprano with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir for 11 years.
A humble yet multi-talented singer with an incredible vocal range, Carmen has dedicated herself to perfecting music that she so loves and records and has often stated that she credits only the Lord her God for her voice and for the joy that she can bring to people’s lives, through the delivery of the word of God through her singing.
